From 1000 hrs: Free Time/Shopping/Sightseeing
For all attendees staying at The Suites at One King West, we have arranged to have their vintage Bentley and Cadillac available to provide a complimentary shuttle for hotel guests to downtown attractions – explore at your leisure, make your own way back to the hotel.
Some Suggested Attractions:
1630 hrs: Travel To Parade Grounds
York Garrison will provide a complimentary motor coach to take hotel guests from the hotel to the Toronto Cricket Club for the Regimental Change of Command Parade.
1700 hrs: Regimental Parade
March past of all 78th Fraser Highlanders in uniform (Scarlets, 78th Fraser kilt, trews or Blazer Order) – featuring the Musket Squads from Montreal and other garrisons.
1830 hrs. Dining-In
The motor coach will take you (one block) to Armour Heights Officers’ Mess – a magnificent ivy-covered, turn-of-the-century mansion located on the grounds of the Canadian Forces Officers Training College. Here you will enjoy a Formal Reception, Dining-In and Dance. The cost of $95 per person will include a glass of bubbly and hors-d’oeuvres at the reception, a four-course ‘filet mignon’ dinner with wine…plus dancing to the Sandy MacIntyre Band – cash bar. 2330 hrs: Return To Hotel
Transportation will be provided back to the hotel.
